ziplogix™ Announces Enhancements to zipTMS™ Transaction Management System
New zipTMS™ features improve functionality and ease of use.
Fraser, MI August 2, 2016 zipLogix™ today announced new features for zipTMS™, the real estate industry’s premier transaction management system. The update adds important collaborative functionality for brokerage accounts, increases transaction organization and enhances transaction document retention.
Leading the release is the transaction coordinator role within a brokerage account. A transaction coordinator can easily work on behalf of an agent or broker on transactions when access is permitted. All activities of a transaction coordinator are tracked within the transaction history, keeping a thorough and detailed audit trail. New permissions are available to broker administrators specific to the transaction coordinator role, offering enhanced risk management.
"This release is a testament to our teams’ ability to effectively communicate with our user base, and deliver what they need,’’ said zipLogix Chairman of the Board Mark Peterson. "We are excited to deliver to our brokers the ability to provide transaction coordinators access to transactions, helping their agents close more business."
Transaction organization and storage in zipTMS™ also have been improved. Agents and brokers can now easily set the transaction status to "closed," storing them apart from their active transactions and staying on task. Transaction storage has been improved with a unified retention policy. When a user sets their transaction to closed or sets a closing date, zipTMS™ explicitly displays how long the transaction will be retained. The length of transaction retention is set by the association to which the user belongs, to meeting the applicable DRE requirements.
